  • Site-Hall/Classroom arrangements with Projector and screen
  • Learner should > 18years
  • Medically fit
  • Appropriate PPE-Harness, Helmets, Safety Shoes, Gloves & Snug fitting clothes
  • Preferably having experience of WAH
  • Weight of learner below 70 kg

Training Methodology
  • Classroom and Practical training
  • Suitable training handouts shall be distributed to the learners
Learning Objectives
  • Legislations for working on rooftops
  • Understand the various risks at the site
  • Hierarchy of risk controls such as conducting HIRA, PTW, Tool Box Talk
  • Safety requirement when working with fixed and portable ladders
  • Selection of anchor points and pre-use checks including vertical and horizontal safety systems and eyebolts
  • PPE Inspection, its fitting, care and safe disposal
  • Use of horizontal safety system-fixed and temporary
  • Restraint techniques on fragile rooftop
  • Practical climbing of fixed ladders using twin fall arrest lanyards
  • Practical Awareness of vertical safety systems
  • Rescue procedure
