Pre-Requisites
  • Learner should > 18 years
  • Physically fit and able to participate in practical activities
  • Appropriate PPE-Helmets, Harness, Safety Shoes, Gloves & Snug fitting clothes
  • Completed work-at-height and rescue operations Level I
Target Participants
This program is designed for Height and Rescue directed at the industrial on-site rescuers such as fire brigades, emergency response technicians and specialist on the use of rope tactics that are applicable to all fields of rescue. Wilderness, vehicle, and water rescue disciplines are not addressed in the course.

Training Methodology
  • Classroom and Practical training
  • Suitable training handouts shall be distributed to the learners
Learning Objectives
  • Revisiting L1 basic practices such as knots, bends & hitches and ascend/descend
  • Rescue scenarios practices in low & high angle environment and rescue victim from platforms & suspended positions
  • Ascend/Descend in low-rig scenario
  • Pass the knots & rope to rope transfer (long distance)
  • Buddy rescue ascend mode
  • Act as a rescue leader & direct/manage rescue scenario by quick planning & executing the rescue
  • Direct a team in the construction of a highline system & operate in different scenarios including follow & not follow method
  • Usage of Spine Splint along with rescue stretcher for victim stabilization
  • Rescue a victim from platform & suspension by single rescuer techniques by using descender lowering technique
  • Rapid Extrication for the quick rescue
  • Basic CPR
  • Rescue of a panicking victim
  • Main line break rescue by single rope technique
